Dive-In Movie

Guess what that means?

We watched a movie - The Adventures of Babysitting - by using a white sheet as a screen while swimming in a heated pool. It was raining the night before so several people considered changing the movie activity to the church. I voted otherwise.

FHE = Civic Orchestra of Chicago

Hope is one of my new friends who recently graduated with her master's degree in music performance and moved to Chicago to join the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. A group of us attended her concert Monday night for FHE.
During one of the movements, I giggled inside thinking back to my fifth grade band days when the orchestra and band combined for concerts. The orchestra always seemed so squeaky and off pitch. Not this orchestra - practice makes perfect and this orchestra was stunning!

Happy Spa Week!

Abby informed me that Red Door Spa located downtown was celebrating "Spa Week" by having a special on facials. We made reservations for Friday night at 7:00 p.m.

It was my first time experiencing a facial and Abby assured me that we were being healthy by participating in this act.

I felt like a little spoiled princess as everyone at the spa catered to my needs.

At the end of the 50 minutes, I thought, "Receiving a facial at a spa would be a perfect gift every September to mark when I've been back from the mission."

....or until next Spa Week.

Just a quick pic of Abby and me at dinner. I love eating outside with a view like this...

Amo a Argentina!

Two years ago today, I returned home from Argentina.

Can't believe how quickly time passes.

I think about my time as a missionary pretty much every day.

Denver, again.

So maybe I went to Denver for Labor Day weekend and it was my third time visiting Colorado this summer. Maybe I'm already planning another trip soon.

Lincoln's baby blessing outfit! :)

The fam.

Sibling love.

Never a family vaca without a pedicure.

I have some hilarious videos to post later. I'm trying to figure out to upload them from my phone. Let's just say you should be excited to see the Pavlovsky adventures in a six person bicycle surrey. (We missed you on the adventure Ang, Mike and Steele. Next time. Next time.)
