A little of this and a little of that

I just wanted to share some fun photos from this month.
Check it out: Two weekends ago, I took a little road trip with some friends to Wisconsin Dells, WI.

The car group...

We managed to cram 30 people in this two bedroom place!

Half of the group went skiing. I participated in the water park activity.

Some of us enjoyed pizza and Root beer at Moose Jaw.

(The antler hats were free.)

Last Thursday I went to Les Mis and loved it. I bet you're wondering which musical I like best out of The Lion King, Wicked and this one. They are all so different, and I really enjoyed them all. I will say that the music in Les Mis was my fav.

I love Chicago because of special moments like this...
Meet my friend Kate. She got baptized on Saturday!!
I love her.

Let me introduce you to my new favorite restaurant in Chicago. And I mean my favorites one ever.

Tango Sur.
How's this for an online review. "Tango Sur remains one of the best Argentine steak houses in the city." I didn't write that, but I wish there was a LOVE button I could click on.

And, check out these snazzy cars from the 2011 Chicago Car Show - the largest Auto show in North America.

(Sorry. I don't remember the names of all these cars, but I'd drive any one of them! haha)

Oh, on Friday, I grabbed my jacket as I headed to work. The weather is starting to warm up. A little. (Come on summer!!) When I reached into my coat pocket. I came across this little guy.

My key card from our cruise. Ohhh. I smiled. :)
(I purposely took this picture with my fam in the background!)

Love and hearts.

Just this week...

I survived the 2011 Chicago blizzard!!
It. Was. Crazy.

My office closed at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and I made it home just in time as the blizzardy weather conditions hit right at 3:00 p.m., just as predicted. Let me see if I can explain the storm... it was a mix of snow + wind + thunder + lightening + craziness. Thundersnow?

And, I spent Wednesday hibernating in my house all day as our office was closed. Snow Day 2011, my new best friend. It was like a forced vacation and I didn't have to use vacation time. Aww.

My car got lost.

About 2 hours later, I found her!

And then the cruel plow truck came down my street and I had to re-shovel out my car.

My back, arms and neck have been aching for days.

I did go back to work on Thursday and then enjoyed a little Disney On Ice - Toy Story 3 for girls night.

Ice skating is by far my favorite winter sport. Maybe we were the only spectators there that didn't have little kids accompanying us. Maybe we didn't care.
