Spring Surprises

When Aaron and I moved into our home last July, we didn't realize there would be spring surprises in our yard! Look what popped out last week...

On Saturday, we participated in a Mormon Helping Hands project.

I don't know how much I really "helped" with my nine-month-pregnant-body, but I put on some gloves for this pic so it looked like I was a really hard worker.

Aaron on the other hand was sweating when all was said and done.

As of today, I'm officially on maternity leave and I kind of love it. A lot.

Gotta go! It's time to pick up my mom from the airport!

City Time!

The weather is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l right now! I mean, the high today was 90! Helloooo sweet summer! The lovely weather sure makes me smile a lot more.

Aaron took the train down to the city yesterday so we could enjoy the cherry blossoms together during my lunch break. They’re gorgeous and in full bloom right now!

Everyone keeps asking me if I’m “so over being pregnant.” (HAPPY 39 WEEKS TODAY!) After a pretty scary commute home last week on the Metro (seriously like a scene from the movies where a fight broke out between strangers), I’m not “so over being pregnant” because I know our baby is safe inside. Does this mean I may be a controlling mother? It’s just…right now…he’s safe. I sure loved General Conference last weekend and the talks about finding true peace in our lives, despite all the craziness around us. Check out all the conference talks by clicking here.
I hope the sunshine and warm weather hits your home soon!

Baby's Birth Month

April - It’s our baby’s birth month and we’re getting so excited to meet him!!

Thanks to Mary Beth for these pics!
P.S. Pretty sure I played the best April fool’s joke ever on Aaron this morning. He was still sleeping as I was getting ready for work. I went over to the bed and told him my water broke. He looked a little confused. And then I said April fools!! And then he said he couldn’t tell if I was being serious or not. I think I fooled him for sure!
