We drove to Colorado and spent several days with the Davis family. We love spending time with family!
Alex gave us all haircuts. Catching up on sleep was necessary.
We were able to watch Mila's play!
We squeezed in some time boat time. Even though it was extremely windy and there were some tears, we enjoyed it.
Shopping trip with Papa was entertaining as he drove like a crazy person while the girls squealed with delight.
We were able to watch Cambry's gymnastic competition. My favorite part was when we slipped off the beam, she jumped right back on to finish strong.
My mom and I drove to CO Springs to enjoy dinner and a concert with this bunch. I cried driving into CO Springs. There were hard times living there, but overall, I look back missing it and grateful for the the memories during our 4 years there.
We walked to church and then drove to my parents' house where we had dinner with Jenny and Steele. We left Monday morning for Utah.
We met the Bullock crew for lunch at BYU.
We visited the bookstore and then of course got ice cream from the BYU Creamery.
Dallas is an impressive wrestler and Eli couldn't get enough.
On Tuesday, my mom treated us all to the movie. Don't these two look like twins?
We were able to meet up with some dear military friends that now live in Utah.
We did some back to school shopping and Eli was thrilled to find these shoes on sale.
The Bullocks have the cool toys they shared with us over and over again.
Alex cut more off my hair. It's pretty short, but maybe 40 means it looks better short.
We swam.
We celebrated the 24th of July with fireworks and watched the parade on TV.
We spent a day in Salt Lake touring Welfare Square as well as the Conference Center.
We also popped into the Church History Museum.
Sometimes I'm a fun aunt/mom and plan special treats that I usually don't buy - we had an Olympic Party!
We spent Saturday visiting Aaron's grandparents and extended family! We haven't been to Utah in 3 years so it was great to be back. The kids loved it and now understand while everyone we know visits Utah often!
We finished up our trip by attending church together before driving back home.
Time with extended family is so good for all of us!
I love that my kids know that their cousins will be friends for life.
