One month of 2016 is already over. How did that happen?!
For my records, I wanted to post the monthly goals I worked on last year...
January - Organization! Turns out when you move and purchase a home, there is a lot of paperwork to complete and places to call. I spent this month getting everything organized for our new life. We also moved to CO when I was 7 months pregnant so I spent millions of hours of the phone switching to TriCare Standard so I could see a doctor closer to our home and deliver at a hospital within 20 minutes away instead of 45 minutes away at the Army Hospital. With more of a house to clean, I created a cleaning chart that helps me feel like cleaning a bigger home isn't all I'm spending my time on. I complete a couple of items a day and it's great. I also printed out our blog from our time in Maryland, finished reading the Doctrine and Covenants and re-read BabyWise.

Feb - Read a conference talk a day, baby prep - freezer meals, pack hospital bag and diaper bag, wrote out Eli's schedule made plans A-Z in case I went into labor in the middle of the night, planned mother/son date with Eli!
March - have a baby! Unsubscribe from the junk mail I received.
April - walk 1 mile a day - after having a c-section, a mile a day was quite an accomplishment. :)
May - House projects, mark scripture mastery in Book of Mormon
June - Write out Austin's birth story, finish Eli's 2 year old book
July - Organize gym workouts, Y membership, organize preschool for Eli, finish summer reading program with the boys, read Parenting with Love and Logic
Aug - read Parenting guide on LDS.org, organize headstone fundraiser for my niece that passed away a few weeks old. I never had a chance to meet her, but when we lived in Maryland, we visited the cemetery often where she's barred. When I discovered she didn't have a headstone, Aaron and I decided to ask the family if they wanted to pitch in and help. Our goal was to have the money by Christmas and thanks to generous extended family members, we reached our goals.
Sept - potty training Eli, make scrapbook with mission pics
Oct - no sugar, but I failed
Nov - went to Kansas to help my parents prepare to move, Aaron had his paternity leave where we completed projects around the house
Dec - Christmas cards, Christmas prep
Having a new goal each month definitely gives me that "fresh start" feeling I typically feel at the start of each new year!
And here is one of the biggest blessings of 2015!
He'll be one next month and I'm a little bit in shock about it.
