Aaron sent me this picture of him attending church in Thailand! The bishop's daughter lives in Denver and is Alex's friend. Small world connection, right?!
Austin's binky days are over. He only used it during nap time and bedtime, but when I saw him starting to chew on it, I knew it was time. It was rough for a few days at nap time, but he's getting better and better. He woke up at 5:30 a.m. and I brought him to my bed and I watched him sleep and thought about all that's happened this past year. He's been a trooper!! While Eli was at preschool, the two of us cleaned up the house and Austin cooked pancakes while I washed the dishes.
We made countdown chains and when Wednesday arrived, we were excited it was the day to pick up dad! We cleaned and decorated the house and heart cookies and watched on my phone Aaron's travels throughout the day!
It's soooo tough being apart, but the reunion really is sweeter and sweeter each time. Oh how they love their dad and how Aaron loves his boys. Everyone hasn't stopped smiling around here!
