East Coast Visitors!

We've officially been in Maryland for a month, and I can't believe how many people have already been out this way. We LOVE visitors so call any time you're in the area and we'll meet up!

For example:

Aaron's cousin, Chris, called Aaron last Wednesday to say he would be downtown D.C. on Thursday. {He was here with his girlfriend for a wedding!} So of course, we took the train down the the city to meet them for the day. We toured the Pentagon, had lunch with Aaron's dad, and enjoyed the afternoon at the National Museum of American History.

This exhibit is my new fave: The Price of Freedom - Americans at War.

Thursday night, we met up with two of Aaron's friends from the Academy. Nate and Matt have been out here for an internship. They headed home on Friday so it was perfect to see them before they headed back west.

When we were having dinner with Nate and Matt, Wendy texted me to see what we were doing on Friday or Saturday because she and Sandy were in D.C. for the weekend.

We made plans to meet them at the nearest metro stop and we headed to our favorite beach for the afternoon! I love Chicago reunions.

Beach day was followed by tamales at Sandy's home. Wendy also made her famous salsa. Soooo good.

You have to come out here. Please!! We'd LOVE it. So much.

In other news:
Guess what opened in Maryland last week?

Guess who has a birthday today? My mom!
{We'll all be together on Wednesday for the big wedding next weekend. Soooo excited!}

Guess what we did yesterday?
Signed a lease.
Guess what we're doing tomorrow?
Moving!

Next blog post? Pics of the new place. :)

Yes, made the blog again! Aaron, maybe you were right about the onion. The morning after, you know, when I'd already brushed my teeth twice, I could still taste the onion. ;) And Happy Birthday, Donna!!!! I hope Joe made you a John Deere cake.

I didn't even know you got married! Ah! I am so excited for you! Your man is super handsome, and you two just glow! Loved seeing the post about your dad, I love him, too. Also, it looks like the east coast is a perfect fit!
