And just like that, Aaron's paternity leave came and went.
Although it was miserable when Aaron had to leave back to Texas when Austin was only a few days old, I'm grateful he was finally able to take his paternity leave.
He was still swamped with homework, painting our bedroom, camping with the scouts, and working from home a few days. And he got sick! But, we did squeeze in some fun family time.
We checked out Monkey Bizness one morning and the boys loved it. We all did!
Lunch followed at Chipotle.
Since Aaron was camping with the scouts, the boys and I ran home to help my parents with a big shed sale they were having. My dad is a such a natural salesman. Here is a pic of him in action. I'm impressed with my dad's skills. I'm also impressed with Eli's sweeping skills.
This may have been Austin's fourth trip to Kansas in his 8 months of life.
And he's happy about it!
