5 Months Old

Sweet baby cakes in 5 months old!
She loves her tongue and toes, grabbing anything in sight, rolling over from her tummy to her back and sometimes back to her tummy. She loves placing her hand on anyone's face who is close by and gives the best little hugs and cuddles! She's talking more and more and we love calling her squeaks (Austin calls her Eleanora and it's so cute). She's tried rice cereal, sweet potatoes, prunes and butternut squash. She doesn't love food as much as her brothers did at this age. Hahah...

We love you sweet, Eleanor!

Sweet Summer Time

Our zoo membership expires at the end of June. We've been cramming in as many visits to the zoo as possible!

Eleanor stole my apple and loved it!

We loved visiting the new baby orangatang.

The rest of the week was spent working - we cleaned out the window sills. They were disgusting. White vinegar was the trick! We also loved cheering on Argentina this week for the World Cup!

And Austin's selfie on my phones always make me laugh.

Baby El sleeps on her side now and it's so cute! She's rolling all over the place.
We're hosting a cadet from Thailand and he brought the boys these boxing shorts! They love them.

The kids came with me to take the YW to the temple. I love this bench because it's where Aaron and I took a picture on our wedding day, dreaming about our future!

Here is the cadet - Torn. Eleanor especially loves that he talks to her as I'm making dinner. The boys have been wearing these jerseys every time there's a game!

First time in the swing for the baby!! So fun!

Shopping at the Asian Market for Thai food.

On Saturday I found myself wishing we could go and do something fun in the summer weather, but as I was washing the dishes, Aaron was teaching the boys how to mow the lawn. I'm grateful for his example in teaching them how to work.

We painted our house all day Saturday and then had free lunch at the neighborhood summer party. Delish!

What I learned this week: I haven't realized how much we pray until we have someone staying at our house that has never prayed! I've sure felt grateful for the gospel and all it teaches us in how to live our lives throughout the week in order to be spiritually protected.

We went to Costco on Friday evening and as I was changing Eleanor's diaper, this lady came in and said, "What a blessing!" I make a lot of mistakes as a mother and repent a lot for yelling more than I should in our home - these little kids ARE such a blessing to us and we love having them in our home.

Father's Day 2018

Eli sang with the primary at church on Father's Day - My father is my favorite pal. Aaron's the perfect mix of loving and patient and strict. Eleanor gives him the best smiles and I jokingly say that I'm up with her in the middle of the night and she loves Aaron so much! The boys get so excited when he gets home from work. We all adore him and we're grateful for Aaron's love and testimony in leading our family.

We had german pancakes for breakfast on Father's Day and Eli's note made me laugh - my dad's pockets are full of "money."

I'm grateful for my own father and his example of hard work and serving others. I'm grateful for my father-in-law and all he taught Aaron in becoming the man he is today.

Eli's Birthday Pics

I realized I never posted these pictures on my blog from Eli's birthday!! Our birthday tradition includes running through the streamers before breakfast. :)

He requested oatmeal with sprinkles for breakfast.

And he loved decorating his own cake!

Birthday presents are the best!

We love our Eli so much!!
