Swimming and Painting

Eleanor went swimming for the first time!! She loved splashing around in the water. We swam with Alex and her gang. It was cool one day and I loved that Eleanor got to wear this cute outfit.

And we're finally painting our house. It looks so much better already!! Aaron was a trooper and did it himself. It saved us so much money.

Here's a snippet of how it's looking so far!

Aaron's work had a summer BBQ. The boys loved the bounce house.

On Friday evening, Eleanor and I went to Girls' Camp for the evening. It was so great to be there for testimony meeting. I love girls' camp. When we first got there, one of the girls said, "Your daughter will be attending camp in 12 years!!" Time is flying by!!

Saturday morning we all slept in and Eleanor work up early so we watched Argentina play in the World Cup. Eleanor and I did grocery shopping Saturday afternoon and then she had a nap in the carseat. She sleeps so well on the go. :) Saturday evening we had a neighborhood BBQ. We have great neighbors and we had an enjoyable evening together.

It's been a great summer. Usually our summer weekends are packed with vacations and plans and friends and family... because of Aaron's career change, we're trying our best to not spend money. There are so many places I really want to visit and vacation we'd love to take, but right now, we're spending our summer at home and it's been so great. Besides, Colorado really is so pretty this time of year. Well, it's so pretty the entire year. ;)
