I can't even believe this is our last summer before Eli starts school!!! So far it's off to a great start.
On Memorial Day, Aaron and I ran a 10K. It was tough and I didn't know if I'd make it, but I ran more than I thought I would and crossed the finish line. My favorite part was spotting my kids with my parents on the sideline! Aaron's become a running machine and ran it in 53.34 minutes. I ran in 1 hr and 26 min. I thought it was going to take me 2 hours. :)

Tuesday evening Nicole and her daughter came over for dinner. We knew the Gurley's in Maryland so it was fun to be reconnected!
Wednesday we went to the zoo!! Our membership expires at the end of June so we're trying to cram in as many zoo days as possible.
Eleanor looked so peaceful during her zoo nap.
At the zoo with my zoo.
On Thursday we met some friends at Garden of the Gods. I love how in Colorado the sun is warm and bright, but the shade is nice and cool! I found a billion rocks in Eli's shorts that he collected.
I love baby cuddles so, so much!
The father and son camp out for our ward was rescheduled and it worked out for us all to go. I dropped the boys off at the Sand Dunes and then Eleanor and I headed to visit my grandma Pav! Austin cracked me up by packing all his animals in his backpack for the camping trip.
Beautiful Sand Dunes.
I haven't seen my Grandma Pav since she was in the hospital for her heart surgery. She's lost some weight, but overall, she looks amazing for all she's been through. It was a special treat to get to spend some time with her and I'm glad Eleanor could meet her!! We spent the night at my Aunt Delzia's house so Eleanor got to meet lots of extended family.
Aaron texted me these pictures from the camping trip and the boys have this special smile when they're camping and dirty and happy and exploring outside!
Everyone was sound asleep for the drive home.
We rushed back Saturday morning so Aaron could work his final event at the Academy. I have so much to write about the Air Force. It's been an incredible blessing to us for this time in our life.
On Saturday evening the kids and I went to Stake Conference. I tried several times to find a babysitter, and when I wasn't having any luck, I decided we'd all go. We set in the RS room and the boys watched a movie while Eleanor and I listened to conference. It worked out great! I was glad I could be there and I pray that as Aaron and I make gospel living a priority, even when it's not convenient, our children's testimonies will grow.
A lot of Stake Conference focused on ministering - the new church program that replaces Visiting and Home Teaching. I loved this quote in reference to the Savior - Know Him, Love Him, Serve Him, Be like Him.
