September, September!

Months ago I was asked to plan a YW Activity for personal progress. Instead of having the girls just bring their books to work on it, I wanted to find a service project we could all do together. With prayer and miracles, it worked out for all the youth to help with yard work for an older couple that is in-active. The wife is a member, but the husband is not. It was rainy that date and I wondered if it would end up being canceled, but the sky opened up and the youth had a great time serving together. It really was a miracle!!

On Thursday I hiked the incline half-way with my friend Sandy. Half-way up because I thought it was going to rain and lightening and because I needed to get back down in time to get Eli from school. I'd love to go back and hike the whole thing sometime soon!

Aaron and I made it to ward temple night (Barely - we literally walked in with 4 minutes to spare.) Alex watched our kids and we loved worshiping in the temple together!!

Little Miss loves eating lots of foods!

We cleaned all day Saturday and then took a break to enjoy the gorgeous fall weather and the slides.

Aaron has started walking dogs (i'm shocked how much people pay to have their dogs walked, but it's been a nice way to make some extra money.) Anyway, the boys asked if they could walk Ms. Deb's dog and Austin said, "Maybe I can get a job walking dogs." It made me giggle.

Welcome, September! Always love when you're here.
