Eleanor decorated her face with Christmas stickers! And Adelaide looks so cute in pink jammies.
We loaded up the car, grabbed some pizza and waited in line for the sun to go down so we could drive through the Christmas lights. We loved the many sparkly lights!
Here is Adelaide's bath time. She does make skeptical faces but she never cries about bath time!
Christmas Sunday is my favorite Sunday! I love this family of mine and we're so grateful that even during this pandemic time, we're able to attend church every Sunday.
Next year I want to get mistletoe.
Dec. 20 - Adelaide has been in our family for ONE whole month! Austin said, "Mom, you're right, I instantly loved Adelaide." We all adore her.
We started Christmas break with lunch at the park. It was sunny and nice weather so we loved being outside. Eleanor doesn't really take naps these days, but she did fall asleep in the car on the way home.
Sister Howe from Colorado Springs sent the kids this fun car to play in. She's so thoughtful!
Jake, Ashley and Owen drove here from Utah! We loved having them!
We squeezed in a Pavlovsky family talent show over zoom.
I baked cookies and the kids loved decorating them.
Papa and Grandma Donna sent the kids new pjs!
Christmas morning snapshots:
Judy made us these delicious buns.
Adelaide slept through it all, but she reminded us of the tiny Baby Jesus, the reason we celebrate Christmas after all.
Christmas and babies - two of my very favorite things!
My Grandma Pav sent us a puzzle!
Adelaide and I took a much needed nap. She's the sweetest!
We loved having family in our home and pictures of loved ones on our wall.
New Years' Eve the kids made breakfast! They're getting so self-sufficient!
We had a candle light dinner together followed by a dance party. It was cozy and simple and I felt so happy.
Aaron and the boys let off fireworks. Welcome 2021!
We woke up to sooo much SNOW!
The kids have played outside for days!
And here are some pictures for Aaron's phone that I wanted to include in my journal as well:
Book reading.
Santa sighting in our neighborhood.
Christmas morning!
Christmas 2020!
New Years Eve!
We're so grateful for all the blessings we experienced 2020 - more family time, life slowing down, a new BABY and so much family visiting us this year.
The snow was the best way to end Christmas Break. The boys head back to school tomorrow and it feels like the first day of school starting again. I'm sad to see them go!
Duane and LeeAnn were in a bad car wreck this week. We cried tears of gratitude that they were okay. We had prayed that they would be safe on their way to Utah. Although their truck and trailer were totaled, we're grateful they were completely fine. Prayer works!
