Our final day in Florida included visiting the Kennedy Space Center. I joked that we spent millions of dollars to see Mickey Mouse and our kids were just as thrilled to meet an astronaut and see the beach.
Alex and Bryan told us about Kennedy Space Center and I'm so glad they did. My kids have always been intrigued with space. Maybe they will become Astronauts one day.
We finished our trip with a visit to Coco Beach. It was beautiful! Austin was so excited, he jumped in and his glasses washed away into the ocean. It was the first time for our kids to see the ocean and I know they'll always remember the beautiful sand and water. My cousin Matt was in Florida so he met up with us and we had fresh sea food for dinner.
Sunday morning came and it was time to say goodbye. We made it to our gate right as our flight was boarding. We quickly gave my parents a hug and made it on the flight.
Adelaide slept peacefully in my arms. I know she won't remember this trip, but I'm grateful for pictures I can share with her. We'll just have to go back when she's older. :)
When Aaron returned from his deployment, I dreamed of going to Disneyland together. Although it didn't work out at that time, this was the perfect time for us. We crammed a lot into 4 days and I know we'll be talking about this trip forever. Yay to family vacations and memories together!
