These two have been working on learning to share and play together. It doesn't always end in smiles like this, but on this particular moment, it was sweetest.
Eleanor and Adelaide had a check-up - Eleanor for turning 4 and Adelaide for turning 15 months. They did so well at the appointment that I obviously bought them a donut! They were thrilled. Next year when Eleanor has his check-up, she'll get her shots for kindergarten. How?!
On Friday our neighbor invited us to the trampoline park. Eleanor jumped the entire time and Adelaide explored all around her.
Friday evening Aaron and I went on a dinner date with friends. We've really improved our habit of going on dates this year and I love it and look forward to it so much.
Saturday morning the kids all helped clean the house. Even Adelaide helped with the dusting.
Eleanor was invited to a birthday party at a gymnastics studio and she had the best time. She sees the boys going to birthday parties so she was excited to have a turn.
Austin has a birthday this week so before he grows a year older, I wanted to get a picture of the kids at ages 8, 6, 4 and 1. :)
The weekend was also spirit filled as I attended a Stake Women's Conference. It was lovely meeting new ladies from the stake, eating a delicious lunch and feeling the spirit through music and testimonies. I'm grateful for moments to be encouraged along my covenant path.
I was also recently called as the first counselor in the RS Presidency. The last time I served in the RS presidency was when Aaron and I were newly married. I'm excited to serve with this presidency and I've already learned so much. I feel like I haven't given too much of an update about my sisters and mom so I'll include it here - my mom is the Stake RS President, Angela is the primary president, Alex is the YW President, Mary Beth is the primary president and LeeAnn is teaching early morning seminary again (she's taught it for 5+ years now). Wow. So many women who inspire me in serving with their heart, might, mind and strength.
