I got home from my quick weekend in Colorado and then we hit the ground running on Monday morning with piano lessons, ballet and grocery shopping. I've started teaching piano lessons and I have 10 students, 5 during the day and 5 after school on Monday and Tuesday. It makes for a full day, but I'm grateful the girls play independently and nap while I'm teaching lessons during the day and the boys keep the girls happy in the basement when I'm teaching after school. I didn't take a lot of picture this week, but here's what happened:
We did hire a guy from our ward to cut the boards for our stairs. It looks so great!! I love a finished project.
A friend gave me some sour dough starter so I made English muffins for the first time. They were delicious, but now I'm afraid I've killed the starter haha.
When the girls and I went to the school last week to have lunch with the boys, Austin's teacher (who Eli had in 2 grade!) spotted us in the lunch room and pulled out her phone to take this picture. I cherish these days with my little kids.
These photos were taken by Eleanor without me knowing. When I look through my phone pictures from the week and find little surprises, I laugh and then remind the kids to not grab my phone and take pictures.
We have this little picture of baby Elise, Spencer and Mary Beth's little angel baby, on our bookshelf and my girls are always drawn to it. We talk often of families being together forever and even though we didn't get the chance to meet Elise in this life, we talk about her and look forward to the day when we'll give her a big hug.
