This moment made me smile as I looked into the bathroom on Sunday morning and saw Aaron teaching the boys how to tie their ties.
Eleanor has been asking to go back to the children's museum, but our free military pass is only good in the summer. She was thrilled when the museum sent me an e-mail saying military could go for free on Veteran's day.
Our kind neighbor gave us bags of clothes her daughter out grew so Eleanor was excited to wear one of the dresses.
We woke up one morning to a powered snow and the girls couldn't wait to run out and play in it.
Aaron had a work conference in Orlando and he begged me to fly down for the weekend to meet him. Aaron's parents agreed to watch the kids so I could go and we had the best time. I found this book title in the airport as I waited for my flight and I love looking for little reminders that God is in the details of our day to day endeavors.
FLORIDA!
I'm also setting goals as I prepare to turn 40 next year so it was fun to see light motivational signs in the restaurant as I waited to meet up with my cousins for lunch.
My cousins moved to FL during the summer so I was excited to meet up with them!
Aaron and I had a date to the temple followed by Giordano's pizza.
Aaron planned an airboat tour that was incredible.
We relaxed in the sun and then rested in the hot tub.
We didn't go to Disney Springs that last time we were in Florida so it was fun to stop in and check it out.
We thought of our kids so much, especially with all the Legos.
Sea World offers military free tickets once a year. We enjoyed the day at Sea World before heading home.
I love Aaron! This trip was in celebration of our 10 year wedding anniversary as well as Aaron's birthday in November and my birthday in December. It felt nice to take a pause from our day to day routines and be together. I came home to excited to see our kids. I missed them dearly and was grateful for the reminder of how blessed I am to be their mother.
