After Eleanor's birthday, we woke up to school being cancelled. It's always nice to not have to wake up so early and stay in our warm beds a little bit longer. The kids did have some virtual work to complete on their i-pads. Adelaide loves to sing along to the days of the week song.
The kids went back to school on Wednesday. It was freezing at the bus stop! Aaron gave our family prayer and expressed gratitude for the snow and the reminder it is that as we repent, we can be made as white as snow. The snow has brought so much beauty this January.
Eli has gotten so much use out of his snowboard! The kids were excited to go sledding after school and any chance they got.
I took Adelaide on a special adventure to the Children's Museum. My goal this year is to be more intentional about planning adventures for us to do together.
On Friday after school, we checked out a new indoor play center. We also had some tickets to use up before the end of the month. Last January we bought pogo passes which allow you to do activities around the city.
This is my favorite picture! I can hear my kids laughing with anticipation and delight as a bucket of balls fell on their heads!
They also took turns climbing on the climbing wall. Aaron had to work late so it worked out nicely that the kids and I could enjoy an activity together.
