Last Saturday Eli was invited to his first birthday party with some of his little friends from church!
He had a blast!
Balloons, the hokey-pokey, warm weather - he loved it all!
Before the party, we played outside and soaked up the sun! I got a nice camera for my birthday and I purposely leave it out on the piano so for moments that I don't want to forget, I grab the camera! I find that I use it more when it's readily accessible! Now if I just knew how to edit pics better and capture the right angle, I'd be set! ;) Step by step I guess!
I don't know if other parents do this, but after I put my baby to bed, I look through pics on my phone of the activities we did during the day. I'm kind of obsessed with my little guy!
Bath night is always a hit at our house:
We toured the Bureau of Engraving and Printing on Monday. With all the tourists preparing to hit DC during spring break and summer vacations, I've decided to do as many touristy things as possible right now!
On Tuesday the weather was in the high 60s. {Today is back to the 30s. Booo.}
But, we enjoyed it while it lasted and can't wait for it to come back soooooon!
Tuesday morning we also stopped by the Chick-fil-a after grocery shopping for a quick 15 minute play time. Eli just looks so tiny in this big play area. :)
It's Friday! I'm looking forward to a date night at the temple tonight and Stake Conference Saturday and Sunday. Talk to you soon!

Love all the pictures, I find having my "good" camera readily available makes it easier for me to use instead of just grabbing my phone. I love looking through pictures on my phone or computer of the day too after they are settled and asleep! Looking forward to your visit next month!
We can't wait to see you guys and I'm glad to know I'm normal for looking through pics of Eli once he's asleep! ;)
