Last week was full of babysitting, being visit taught, canning peaches, being sick and hiking the Incline. The worst part was being sick for the day! Thanks to my kind neighbor and friend for immediately taking Eli when I texted her I was sick. She texted me to see if we wanted to have a play date and when she found out I was sick, she ran over to take Eli to her house. Then she insisted on delivering dinner. Such a blessing! Thankfully I felt back to normal the next day.
Eli gets a kick out of watching Austin eat. This particular day he wanted to help.
Peaches and peach jam!
Saturday I hiked the Incline with friends from church. We got there at 7:00 a.m. along with hundreds of other hikers. it was pretty intense and we stopped often to "enjoy the view" aka...take a breather, but it was so worth it. It feels good to do hard things!
The view from the top...
I said a million times, "I love Colorado." Here's a pic my friend posted on Insta of all the stairs we climbed.
Aaron and the boys went to the park and Bass Pro. They enjoyed their time together and sent me texted throughout the morning!
Future hiker.
With church starting at 1:00 p.m. on Sundays, we alter Eli's schedule just a bit and he has lunch around 10:45 a.m. and then takes a little nap. Yesterday he asked to sit beside me on the barstool and as I looked over, he suddenly looked so grown up.
This is his "smile" face these days. Ha!
Austin wore this outfit to church yesterday that I use to love on Eli.
These happy boys make me happy.
XOXO
