Halloween 2015

Thanks to my creative sisters, I love having family costumes now too! Angela wore this Dorothy costume several years ago and was kind enough to send it to me along with the basket and Toto. Not pictured are my ruby red slippers.

Austin's costume I found at Wal-mart and he was the cutest little lion. Eli rocked his tin man costume (even though he decided last minute not to wear the silver box I spray painted for him) and he carried around a pretend ax.

And Aaron is always a great sport and agreed to be the scarecrow. I wish you could see the patches and straw he added to his costume he found at Goodwill.

"Oh, you're the best friends anybody ever had!" - Dorothy

Friday morning my friend planned a Halloween party for play group.

The donut eating contest was my favorite!

Halloween morning the boys helped me clean the church because Aaron got sick after the ward party and I demanded that he stayed in bed. :/

I'm grateful for their willingness to serve!

Our stake conference landed on Halloween night so we did a quick round of trick or treating in the neighborhood and then I headed to stake conference. (Aaron stayed home sick with the boys!)

I agree. Holidays are so much better with little ones! I loved that Eli went around telling everyone what his costume was. And, his face lit up as he examined all the candy he received.

Thanks for a memorable month, October!
