A few weeks ago Aaron was at a training for a week so here's how the boys and I passed the time.
1. Mall play place. (I love how it's customized to Colorado Springs.)
2. FHE. We planted flowers and a little garden - tomatoes, carrots and kale.
3. Free food. One day we enjoyed a free frozen yogurt treat at Orange Leaf and the next day we enjoyed a free cinnamon sugar pretzel. I follow a blog that posts free deals in the area and it's nice because we've turned the deals into our rewards when our chores are done.
4. We drove up to Denver to have a playdate with friends. Tiff lives minutes away from the temple so we dropped by for a quick hello.
5. Slumber party at Alex's Thursday night since we picked Aaron up at the airport Friday morning. Alex gave this little one a haircut. My mom brought Steele to Denver to pick-up a new car so they joined us for the slumber party. :)
It's never easy when Aaron's gone, but I'm grateful I have these little ones to keep me company!
