Easter week

Eli's cousins play the piano and they've inspired him to want to play too. He's picked up a few songs and loves practicing. Austin too!

Eleanor loves walking behind the stroller these days. I love seeing her little body walking in front of me!

Aaron sent me a thoughtful gift! The packaging smells so delicious.

Her favorite pastime is getting into the pantry and finding what new things she can discover.

Taco Tuesday: We decided to grab some tacos from Del Taco for taco Tuesday. We all ate dinner for $3. We ate outside and loved the fresh air and quick clean up. ;)

We colored Easter Eggs!!

Thursday night we went and watched Lincoln and Dallas play baseball. All these cousins are fun and wild together.

On Friday morning, Eleanor and I headed to the airport for a trip to Kansas City. The boys stayed with Alex and I worried about leaving when they were still asleep. I did tell them goodbye when they went to bed, but I still teared up sneaking out the door for the airport. They had a great weekend with the Davis family!! Eleanor and I grabbed a rental car and then started looking at homes with our relator. This is the view from the deck of a house I loved. Aaron arrived later that evening and then we continued the house search on Saturday. We did make an offer on this home, but ours wasn't accepted. I didn't expect this whole house hunting/preparing to move experience to be so emotional!!

Oh, Friday evening, Eleanor and I drove down to see Adam and Amelia. Eleanor was obsessed with this dog kennel and puppy!

She had fun playing with these cute kids!

More house hunting on Saturday. This little bench was a perfect resting spot for her.

And this pink tree was the only thing I liked about this homes we were touring.

Another house.

We drove by the temple and we can't believe how close we'll be living to one!!! It's the first time in both Aaron and my life that we'll be this close to a temple. We instantly felt peace and a gentle reminder that Heavenly Father will lead us to where is best for our family.

We ended our quick trip with KC BBQ. Eleanor was born for BBQ. She loved it.

We woke up at 4 am to head to the airport. Eleanor slept for a bit of the trip. I love holding my sleeping babies.

We arrived home early Easter morning to lots of hugs and kisses from Eli and Austin. We sure missed them and they missed us! We attended church with Alex's family and then enjoyed a nice dinner.

All this week, we studied the events of the Holy Week. How grateful we are to celebrate the miracle of Christ's resurrection and the peace that radiates in our lives knowing we will all be resurrected as well. Happy Easter!
