Selling our home

We decided to list our home for sale during Spring Break. We planned to visit Aaron for a week so our house would be open for interested buyers. It was stressful and lots of work, but everyone in our family stepped in to make it all come together.

Eli looked extra cute heading to school this day. I love uniforms and wish all schools required them.

Multiple Home Depot runs. Eleanor was thrilled to sit in the car cart for the first time. Austin was a great teacher!

I somehow matched the outside paint well enough to paint some spot by the front door! I impressed myself haha.

The weather was warm and sunny and then a blizzard hit. Eli was out of school for days. We kept busy inside and I got a lot of packing and cleaning done. It was a blessing to be home! We did lose power for about 4 hours and we were grateful it turned back on so quickly.

The boys loved playing in all the snow.

Eleanor has started "reading" and it's so cute - she babbles loudly! I put her in the hiking backpack while I prepped dinner.

More house cleaning. Grateful for these little helpers.

A quick St. Patrick's Day pic before church - everyone was thrilled to have Lucky Charms for breakfast.

I've had some tough days while Aaron is gone and little notes like these have lifted my spirit so much.

More reading and reading.

I was so grateful my parents came and helped us get our house ready for listing.

Here's the official "For Sale" sign!! So much mixed emotions.

Eli celebrated 100 days of school and since my parents were here, I was able to run to the school and attend the celebration. He has the cutest class. My mom and I squeezed in some temple time before heading to Alex's house to spend the night. My dad watched the kids at the visitors' center. My kids and I left early Friday morning for DC and my parents took us to the airport.

These events happened several weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to updating my journal. Our house in currently under contract and we had 3 offers - we close May 29 on this home. Even though it was a lot of work and I was exhausted, it really did work out great to have it open while we were visiting Aaron for Spring Break.
