Eleanor is often found praying throughout the day. We hope she always loves praying and learns that her prayers are heard by Heavenly Father.
Aaron is working away on the basement bathroom. He didn't have work on Monday and he worked on scrapping off the thin set (it's the adhesive under the tile). It's coming on little by little.
Aaron was gone several days this week. He returned home late Wednesday night. Before he left for a few days, he read the kids a story (Eli was already at school). I love Eleanor's arm resting on her dad's back.
On Tuesday, we went to Lego Land. I found out they have toddler time for kids 4 and under. Eleanor still doesn't require a ticket so it cost $15 for all of us to enjoy a day at Lego Land. We missed Eli being with us.
Oh Austin, we're going to miss you so much when you go to school. I'm excited to see him grow and be a good example in his class.
Wednesday we went to play group with our church friends. We checked out the new children's exhibit at the Crown Center.
Austin took this picture on my phone. As I looked through pictures from this week, I thought about how so many times in my journal I'm posting the fun activities we're doing each day - this is also what we're doing each day - house chores. Here is a laundry folding day.
Saturday Eli had his last game! He set a goal make a basket in every game and he did it!! His team improved so much this season.
Austin and Eleanor were very supportive and enjoyed the games.
Eli then had a birthday party with his school friends. Austin was planning on going, but he had a life lesson about how all our actions have consequences. He struggled to obediently get his chores done in the morning so I told him that the birthday party was a privilege and he couldn't go. It broke my heart telling him that and he was crushed about it too. He's been really good today though and I can tell he learned a life lesson.
On February 21, I woke up this week thinking about how I entered MTC 13 years ago! Wow! I've been reading through my mission journal and I love reading about how hard the MTC was at times, but how I loved preparing for a mission. My mission experience really was life changing and I'll be forever grateful for the opportunity I had to be stretched and because of that, I great closer to my Heavenly Father as I prayed to Him so many times throughout the day.
