Christmas 2021

The kids were trying to guess their presents under the tree. I remember doing the same thing as a kid! I took each of the kids shopping to buy their siblings a gift and I love seeing the kids shop around for a gift their siblings will be sure to love.

Duane and LeeAnn joined us for Christmas Eve and the weather was so nice we sat outside on our deck under the lights as we listened to Christmas music and ate cookies. I couldn't believe the weather was so warm! It felt like we were on a tropical vacation.

Christmas morning!!

Eleanor was so excited for her unicorn! Eli couldn't wait to try out his new skateboard and Austin wanted to put together his science kit the second he saw it.

I stepped back and took in this Christmas moment and felt so grateful for my family and this time in my life.

Adelaide was just a few weeks old last Christmas and here she was enjoying every minute!

Austin picked out this music set for Adelaide!

My Grandma Pav made the kids these teddy banks.

I don't want to forget the gifts Austin had for everyone. He found books and trinkets from his room that he wrapped for everyone. It was so thoughtful!

The biggest surprise of all was a treasure hunt - the kids did great figuring out all of the clues. It's fun that Austin and Eli read so well and Eleanor helped them figure out the clues.

We're going to Disneyworld in February!! Yay! I'm probably the most excited! I started planning the trip a few months ago and Aaron and I agreed that this would be a fun Christmas surprise. I love creating memories together! Jenny and Steele sent us new Disney shirts we can take with us on our trip! Now I'm just praying that nothing comes up that prevents us from going.

Austin has turned into a little scientist with his science kit!

Most of all, we're grateful for the birth of Jesus Christ and the hope we feel each day knowing that He will come again! We know as we turn to him and strive to pattern our lives after him that we will know true happiness in this life and the life to come.
