Adelaide loved saying hello to Aaron while he put up the Christmas lights outside. We took a Sunday walk around the temple before tithing settlement.
Adelaide looked so cute on her first Sunday with her new glasses.
We went on a family adventure and the boys discovered a new skate park. They were so excited to ride their bikes with Aaron. The girls and I drove over to hiking path and then hiked down to meet them.
Aaron gave Eleanor a little ride.
It's so refreshing being outside together! I know I ask a lot of our kids on Saturday mornings with all their responsibilities at home, but then I feel like it makes an afternoon adventure even that much better.
The boys asked if they could run over and help our neighbors rake their leaves. Soon all the neighbor kids were pitching in to help!
A friend was getting ride of this push bike and Adelaide loved riding in it to when we picked up the boys from the bus stop.
When Adelaide got her new glasses, she wasn't sure what to think of them at first. When she's in the high chair for meals, she has a tendency to pull them off. Otherwise, she does pretty well at keeping them on. Her personality has blossomed so much with her new glasses. She has more confidence and is talking more. I didn't expect to get so emotional when she first put on her glasses. She started pointing at everything and looked up at me and gave me the biggest hug. It made me cry. She had a similar reaction to Aaron when he got home from work and wanted to give him a big hug. We're so grateful for pediatric pediatric ophthalmologists that have helped our kids with their vision needs.
Our stake had an activity where we walked through the gym and looked at different nativities on display. We ended the evening watching a live nativity.
Speaking of nativities, for Christmas my parents gave us more pieces to the nativity set they gave us last year. I love displaying mine on our piano.
