KC Summer

First things first. My parents got a PUPPY! My mom said he's made them so happy. We are wondering when we'll get to meet the little guy!!!

I kept telling everyone that one of my favorite parts of CO is how the evenings cool off in the summer. We must have brought back the CO weather with us because the last week of July in KC was beyond beautiful. We planned as many activities as we could outside. First up. the zoo!

Aaron went on a quick over-night work trip so the kids and I did some shopping at Old Navy and Barns and Noble. We then shared a Subway sandwich and played at the park for hours. 

One day we visited the Powell Gardens and I felt so grateful that our tickets were free because of the military. I told my kids that I felt like we were being blessed because of paying tithing. 

A lady at the gardens asked if we wanted a family picture so of course I said YES! I want to have a flower garden and have access to flowers to give away at any time. It was a wonderful day in nature.
