More adventures

How is summer going by so quickly? It's been a month since I updated my journal.

We continue to explore whenever possible. We went downtown to a fun free children's exhibit before picking Aaron up and doing some shopping for his camping trip with the YM.

Eli and Austin are so big and I love when they turn back into little boys and still enjoy pretending. They turn into my little toddler boys again and it makes my heart smile watching them. I love that all the kids enjoy exploring together.

Classic "take a ride on dad's legs after work."

Poor Austin woke up with a swollen eye. I worried it was pink eye, but a quick checkup by the dr confirmed he scratched it or had something stuck in it all night. Because he was still swimming every day, I wanted to get his eye checked in case he wasn't supposed to be in the water. Thankfully, it cleared up in a day.

The girls were so cute and Eleanor planned a "mom's treatment party" thanks to something she remembered from watching Fancy Nancy. My favorite part is that she remembered we had cucumbers in the fridge so she ran and grabbed them for my eyes.

While Aaron was gone for several days with the YM, I took the kids to the middle school play, "Moana." I've heard great things about it and I couldn't believe how great it was.

Thursday night = swim meet.

When I called Eleanor over to join me in cheering on Austin in his race, I laughed to discover Eleanor was painting her toenails on the sideline. I didn't even know she had packed her nail polish. Eli was very excited to win his heat again!!

She loves spotting Austin and Eli during their practice.

More pet sitting - we watched Coco, Aaron's boss's bog. I was sooo worried something would happen, but thankfully, she was great and we all fell in love with her.

Adelaide loved having something smaller than her around the house and even liked to sit in Coco's bed.
