Adelaide loves to snuggle in Eleanor's bed for scriptures and stories at bedtime. This little sister relationship makes my heart burst with love. They adore each other!
We laughed when Aaron set Adelaide on top of the refrigerator.
I made some sour dough English muffins again and they were better than the first time.
Sometimes I feel like I'm running so many errands all week that I'm not doing as many adventures with the girls like I use to when the boys were this age. I scheduled a reservation for Hallmark and then got such a horrible headache that we had to leave early. Too bad! We'll definitely go another time. The girls were so understanding and didn't mind watching something while I slept on the couch for a bit. On Friday we deep cleaned all day...something I haven't done very well for a while. We worked hard so we could enjoy the evening at the school's trunk or treat.
It's a super hero's halloween theme this year! I bought the girls wonder woman costumes and regretted paying so much for them so I returned the costumes and counted it a big blessing when I found costumes for a few dollars at the thrift store and online garage sale. The sizes aren't exactly right, but who cares?! I love little experiences like this and count is as a blessing from paying tithing!
I volunteered at the book fair so Aaron ran around the event with the kids. It's fun to be more involved with the boys' school this year.
Aaron ran a half marathon on Saturday morning. I wish I had a picture! We had a little sleepover with friends as their parents were also running in the race.
On Sunday I was in lots of meetings. Aaron is working hard with seminary. We're exhausted and so blessed and give thanks that we're able to serve. Our kids are so supportive and understanding as well. I was extra grateful they didn't complain when we stayed for ward choir after church.
