When I look at our pictures from this week, it's obvious that swim team has taken over our summer. We have two weeks left! And really, the boys are enjoying it and I love that they get to start each day with exercise.
Eleanor got these pictures from her primary class and wanted to tap them on her new bunk bed. I love that she sees Jesus and the scriptures when she first wakes up and when she first goes to bed.
Eli is hustling and was awarded swimmer of the meet! He was thrilled. He jumped in to help with a relay last minute and did a great job. He was awarded for his willingness to step in and help the team.
Eleanor requested a tiny little braid while the boys practiced one morning. Aaron was traveling this week so the swim meet was short and sweet. I was grateful for the boys flexibility in only swimming free style so we didn't have to wait in the heat for more events. The girls are champions as they don't complain about another swim meet.
Go boys go! Eli was excited to shave .3 seconds off his time and qualify for conference in free style! Austin was put into a heat with a lot of fast swimmers so I appreciated that he didn't get discouraged and pushed through.
When my phone memories pop up, I cry a little looking at how small my kids were 6 years ago. Eleanor and Adelaide weren't even in our family yet!! So many times I cry wondering if I'm doing the best I should be as a mom. I'm grateful for all that my children teach me and I pray I'm helping them become who Heavenly Fathers wants them to be.
