Kansas trip! Part I

We spent last week in Kansas for my mom's 60th birthday and for the 4th of July! We had the BEST time and love being with family. Here's a million pictures to prove it!

We left Tuesday night and arrived at 1:30 a.m. Eli has a hard time adjusting to different sleeping situations so in an effort to have a happy toddler during the trip, Aaron slept on the couch so Eli could have the bed.

Our first stop on Wednesday was John Deere for tractor rides!

Angela and Mike decorated the kitchen for my mom's birthday celebration.

Aaron made these delicious lemon cupcakes!

My mom's birthday request was a talent show. Done! Matt and Sam amazed us all with their magic. Eli showed off his dancing skills while my Grandma Pav taught us all how to waltz! My dad stole the show by making all the kids balloon animals. Not pictured, Alex's stand up comedy show (!!!), and all the little cousins dancing and singing and doing somersaults.

Look at all these cute grandkids!
Eli was in heaven playing with his cousins every second of every day.

Aaron and I escaped on the four wheeler for a date! We also escaped to get massages from two little Chinese ladies that were stronger that I thought humanly possible. I'm still sore!

Nothing better than dirt and following the dog and cat around!

Angela put Austin in the play shopping cart and he fit perfectly!

We had Mexican food on Friday and of course we told the waiter it was my mom's birthday!
Feliz cumpleaƱos!

Little frogs and bonfires and s'mores made everyone smile.

On Saturday we went to a Mennonite farming extravaganza! I have more pics to share. I've never seen so many tractors plowing at once.

In order to have a true American 4th of July, Aaron insisted on baking an apple pie! It turned out so delicious. Jenny made this cute flag cake that was also delicious!

Saturday after naps we headed to the splash park and pool!

These little babies celebrated their first 4th of July AND turning 4 months old!! We love them!!

I'll be back soon with more!
