Last year I saw friends from the ward post pictures about the Labor Day Balloon Festival in Colorado Springs and made a mental note to go this year! Eli has somehow became obsessed with hot air balloons so I figured he'd enjoy this. I debated about waking the boys up early because it was the week we were leaving for our Maryland trip, but it worked out just fine! With Aaron not being here, it didn't really feel like a holiday, but it was nice to break up our morning routine with an early morning adventure!
