On Monday I was diagnosed with having shingles. The rash appeared under my arm and hurt like crazy. Thankfully, I was able to video chat with a dr (virtually for the first time, so crazy, but so convenient!) and get a prescription. Angela had shingles a few years ago so she told me an anti-itch spray to get to help. The nurse I talked with over the phone told me to make sure my body stayed cool and didn't overeat. This week was extra hot - and the kids were devastated we couldn't go swimming because it really was the perfect week for it. I rested most of the week and I'm grateful the kids were okay with it. They watched a lot of movies and read a lot of books.
I did start feeling better by the weekend.
Eleanor wrote on the wall and Aaron had her clean it up.
Aaron helped his dad put up their new kitchen cabinets. They turned out so nice! Now I want to work on our kitchen.
Duane got a new tractor and took the boys for a spin.
Sunday: I braided Eleanor's hair and she looked so adorable!
The kids love when we read to them.
I love being their mom! We had a special sacrament meeting with the stake presidency attending our meeting and a new bishopric was called and sustained. We're excited for the new bishopric and we're grateful for their willingness to serve.
Sunday walk - Eleanor is great to remind me to stop and smell the roses.
Sunday afternoon, Aaron took the kids to the park while I jumped on a zoom call with my mission president and his wife! I love them both so much! They invited us to do all that we can attend the open house of the Bahia Blanca temple when it's open. Oh I would love to attend with my family. We're starting to save our pennies now.
