We filled the water table up with Orbiz and the kids played with them for hours and hours. Please notice in this picture that Eleanor dressed herself for the day. :)
We enjoyed a free trip to our zoo and explored places we haven't see yet.
More swimming - we swim as much as possible.
Eleanor fell asleep in the car when we ran to pick up groceries. When I carried her in, I thought she'd wake up, but when she didn't, I just stopped and soaked in the few minutes of cuddling with my baby. I can't believe she won't be the baby for much longer!
Wednesday evening: Aaron had to work late, so I took the kids with me to our youth activity where we played Candy Land in the parking lot. The kids got to play with the leftover chalk!
I love working with the YW. The last several months, we had activities together over zoom because of the pandemic, so it's been extra fun to be able to meet together in person for these activities.
Thursday: lake day with friends! I sent out a message to the families in the ward letting them know we were headed to the lake. Several friends joined us and we all loved spending time together in nature.
We stopped for frozen yogurt on the drive home!
Friday: the boys had dentist appointments at 7 am so we were all up bright and early. No cavities! I did get a flat tire from the lake trip, so I got that fixed at 8 am then we had the whole day free. We explored a new park!
The kids talked me into going to the pet store to look at the cute pets for sale.
Saturday: our primary had a water activity and it was a blast!
The day was HOT so we then went to our pool after the primary party. It's always a treat to swim with dad.
Saturday evening we grabbed dinner at McCalisters. It was fun to enjoy family dinner together and the kids can eat for .99/each.
Sunday: We had church at home and then headed out to Grandma and Grandpa Volk's house to wish Grandpa Volk a happy birthday! Here is Eleanor carrying in Grandpa's present.
I felt extremely tired during the week and I was taking naps for hours a day. I kept thinking it was just pregnancy and having three kids, but then a rash broke out under my arm - I had singles. :( It was pretty miserable.
