Sneak Peak

The boys are getting excited for Halloween and Eli wore this hat - that's part of his costume - to the Y today.

Austin is getting his bottom teeth in and he was extra fussy today, then only napped for an hour and a half. I shouldn't say "only" because he did nap, but he usually sleeps a lot longer.

The Christmas decorations are out at Wal-mart already!
(I know. We went to Wal-mart again today. I bought some popsicles for Austin's teething gums and vinegar to clean the blinds in our house. All the vinegar in my house has been used for volcanoes.)

And now my blinds are all clean so quick, someone please come over to see them! :)

As I was cleaning the blinds this evening, the boys were looking through our family scrapbooks. Austin kept pointing to the book and saying, "Dad. Dad. Dad." Eli asked me to lay by him tonight when I tucked him in and I asked him what we should talk about. He said, "Dad." So we talked about all we have planned the rest of the year - Halloween, Thanksgiving, Dad's birthday, Mom's birthday, Christmas, New Year's and then January will be here!

At times it feel like Aaron has been gone forever and these 6 months are dragging so much, but when I talked with Eli about the rest of the year, I realize just how quickly time is passing.

One day at a time!
