Parade

My parents new town sure knows how to celebrate Veteran's Day. This year we were able to celebrate Veteran's day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A Veteran had a sign on his car in the parade that said:

"From a Vet: Thanks for being citizens worth fighting for."

There have been riots because of the current election that just passed and I cried when I read that sign - I do keep thinking of all of the veterans that have and are currently serving in the military - especially my dear husband. I know America isn't perfect, but what a blessed country we get to live in and enjoy so many blessings. I pray we can forever be citizens our troops are proud to fight for. We love you, America!
