RUN VOLK

We went to Liberty Oaks to cheer on the boys as they ran laps to raise money for a new playground. The boys ran more than the required 30 laps!!

The girls then did some yoga and giggled as I folded clothes.
Adelaide then woke up and had a rash all over her body - our friends had hand, foot and mouth and it got passed on to us. Eleanor wasn't sick for too long, but Adelaide struggled for about a week. She was miserable and needed lots of cuddles.

We did enjoy some fresh air on the porch.

Finally by Friday, Adelaide felt better, which I was so grateful because the girls both helped me set up the church for a ward activity. It was a cultural potluck and it turned out great!

We're getting our house painted!! I get terrified seeing the guys on tall ladders. Here is one of the guys power washing our house. The girls loved watching.

Goodbye brown house - hopefully we like the green color we picked.

Austin's last soccer game - he improved so much and scored at least 2 goals each game!!

The boys were invited to a birthday party so Eleanor and I had an ice cream date. We went shopping at Target and then got ice cream. I love my little friend. She makes me laugh.

Grammy Volk was out of town on Mother's Day so we went up the following Sunday to attend church with them. It was a lovely Sunday together! We're sure grateful they live so close to us!

And Grammy and Grandpa Volk gave me the best Mother's Day gift - Lucky Charms marshmallows. I got sick eating this bowl so I didn't even finish it because there was so much sugar! I woke up the next day and decided I needed a health change.
