Eli's turn for a music concert! Last minute he was asked to give a part because one of the kids couldn't attend. He did so well that no one even knew he was asked the day of the concert.
Poor Eleanor had a fever for a whole week. She took a nap several times during the week which is definitely not like her. I also hate when my kids don't feel well. I was so thankful she started feeling better after a week for suffering.
Friday evening the family helped me buy food for a funeral. We were going to eat at Sam's, but the cafeteria was closed so we opted for Taco Bell instead. Adelaide loved it so much I had to take a picture.
Sunday Stake Conference. It's been years since we've had church in the morning - our ward has been in the afternoon. We had a very lovely Sunday. I should also note that Aaron and I spoke during the adult session of Stake Conference on Saturday night. We were asked WEDNESDAY night if we would speak on Saturday. There had been a misunderstanding. I cried because I was so exhausted. Once Eleanor was feeling better, I volunteered at a blood drive for the ward for a few hours and then we were in the middle of planning a funeral. I was grateful the words to my talk came together so quickly. I was asked to speak on teaching children how to invite others to Christ. I testified that if we're daily studying the gospel of Jesus Christ as a family, our children will naturally speak about the gospel outside our home. I'm grateful for my kids' examples of being good missionaries. Aaron's talked about inviting others to Christ and he did so well. I know he did well because people have come up to me and said.. "I was so inspired by Aaron's talk that I decided to talk with my friend about my beliefs." Aaron's a great writer and speaker. I loved giving talks together! We still haven't gotten a family picture for Easter. I snapped a few pictures with the kids. Austin had already changed out of his church clothes.
We planned a going away dinner for our friends who graduated from medical school. We're going to miss them! These great families moved to KC and put their whole heart into serving in our ward.
These two played all morning with this diaper box. They loved squeezing in together.
While Eleanor was at ballet, Adelaide and I took a walk around this beautiful church to admire the flowers.
Austin got to go on a field trip. I loved that one of his friend's moms sent me some pictures. Next time I hope I can go with him and siblings are allowed.
Austin had crazy hair day. And here is baby Eleanor greeting her cousin Elise. Elise's birthday was this week and we were thinking about her!
