Adelaide had a cute little play date with her friend. I love toddler talk as these two had a snack.
Strawberries! They're so cute and tiny. We think a bunny is snacking on our plants. There is something magical about picking tiny strawberries from these little plants.
We squeezed in a last lunch date with Eleanor as a kindergartener. One of my favorite things about Eleanor is when she sees me in the hall, she shouts "MOM!" and runs and gives me the biggest hug!
Aaron was traveling for the week, so he missed Eli's 5th Grade celebration, It was simple and sweet and a great way to celebrate these kids as they head on to middle school next year. I cried watching the slideshow video of each kid - there was a picture Eli in kindergarten next to a picture of him now. A still remember Eli's excited smile as he headed off to school on the first day of kindergarten. We were living in Colorado Springs. Aaron took him on the first day and stayed with him for a few hours. The second day seemed harder at drop off as so many parents were waiting to check in to the school and I could see Eli was getting more nervous with each passing moment. I had plans to walk him to his classroom, but I knew I just needed to open the door and push him along. I gave him a quick hug and told him to walk down to his classroom. Now here he is finishing up 5th grade. When we moved here, he was in 1st grade! How is that even possible?
We ended the evening with a quick treat at QT. We love their ice cream treats because they're affordable and delicious.
Somehow these picture got into the mix. Eli found this dead snake on our driveway and insisted on chasing the girls around with it.
I don't save all my kids' crafts, but I do enjoy snapping pictures of their projects so I can remember their art.
