During the month of April, our school district sends home a form we can sign to have our kids participate in "Take your child to work day." It's become my favorite day of the year because I sign my kids out to school and we spend the day together. We started the day by visiting Aaron's new office. It's pretty fancy! We loved walking around the new office and seeing where Aaron spends a majority of his day.
Next, we went to the zoo with our friends. We had a free pass to use during the month of April and so did our friends! The rain didn't stop us from having a great day together. I love my job as a full-time mom.
Eleanor has taken off with her reading skills this year. She's becoming our next book worm!
A friend dropped off flowers to let us know she was sorry to hear about Aaron's uncle passing away. It was so thoughtful of her. Adelaide prays daily for "Aunt Sandra" and I felt like these flowers were a direct answer to Adelaide's little prayer.
Eli is enjoying flag football and Austin had his favorite year of soccer to date. Both boys have scored during their games and their skills have improved. I love watching them improve and enjoy their team.
Eleanor set the table one evening and wrote cute notes on our napkins. I love her thoughtfulness.
Now that Aaron has meetings before church with his bishopric calling, the kids and I have made it a tradition to take a temple walk each morning before our noon church service begins. The girls wore their matching Christmas dresses one more time before the weather warms up.
