A friend took this picture of these kindergarten friends together after school!
Field Day! Adelaide and I stopped by to watch the kids in action. Eli participated in a pickle ball tournament and loved it.
Adelaide finished up Ms. Meghan's music class with a recital. Eleanor wore these same outfit to her recital when she was three. I can't handle their cuteness!!
Adelaide was excited to show us her music skills. As the baby of the family, it's fun for her siblings to get to watch her perform in something for a change. She's always cheering them on so she was excited for her turn!
Before summer break officially began, Adelaide and I enjoyed a final lunch date together, just the two of us. I went to the counter to get more water, and as I looked back at Adelaide, I loved watching her eat her macaroni and cheese. I love that her feet don't touch the floor. I love her pink glasses and happy smile. She's the cutest little lunch date.
May is an exhausting month for all of us. When I went to check on the boys to see if they were awake for school, I found Austin was still sound asleep.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!! YAY! Here are the neighbor kids waiting for the bus on the last day!
All these boys are headed to Middle School next year.
A tradition at Liberty Oaks is for the 5th graders to walk the halls one last time at the elementary school. Aaron's schedule allowed him to join us for the final walk. Eli was all smiles as I whipped away the tears.
I did help plan the 5th grade celebration party at the pool. The kids had a blast together one final time!
Our friend's host the best end of school party. I paid a neighbor girl to watch my kids while I helped out at Eli's party. All the kids had a blast heading into summer with a bang!
Here is Eli's final project. Once again, I don't save all their projects so he smiled for a picture before we placed this in the recycle bin. ;)
HAPPY SUMMER BREAK! I'm praying this is the best summer yet. Eli will attend YM camp next year and I can just feel the summer slipping away as Eli will have more events and jobs taking his summer breaks from being at home. Here's to enjoying time together as well as working, practicing the piano and improving ourselves over the summer!
