Exploring

Aaron's grandparents flew to KC so we got to spend last weekend with them. We all met in St. Joseph and enjoyed going to several museums together and going out to lunch. Adelaide loved this carousel.

Sunday Temple Walk!

I found this preschool book for Adelaide and we keep it in the car so it's ready and available when we're waiting for the kids. This time we worked on it together while Eleanor was doing her gymnastics class. Adelaide really does use both of her hands the same, so I haven't been sure if she's left or right handed. Just recently she's been preferring her left hand so I think she is left handed!

Eleanor started gymnastics a month ago and is dreaming of being in the Olympics one day. She was thrilled when her coach came up to her after practice this week with a ticket that said she is ready to move up to the level 2 class. Yay! She's doing cartwheels all day throughout the house.

I haven't done a lot of day in the life posts with Adelaide. We're usually running errands, going to and from the gym, preparing dinner, cleaning up the house and then picking up the kids. She loves Monday because she gets to go to ballet and she loves Wednesday because we go to story time and then the gym.

This week was special because on Thursday we went to the Fun Farm for the first time. I bought two discounted tickets a few months ago and it was finally time to use our tickets. We loved being outside on the farm and enjoying all the fall activities. It officially feels like fall! I texted my CO Springs friend this picture and said I feel like I was just taking my other toddlers to the pumpkin patch in CO and now Adelaide is my last toddler!!

She could have stayed in the corn pit all day. After our friends left, we went back and played together!

I loved this sign as we walked out of the store.

Sometimes Adelaide will ask me if she has time to put on her socks and shoes as we race out the door. As we pick up the kids each day, there is a feeling of rushing because I know they're expecting me. I'm grateful Adelaide has reminded me to slow down and enjoy the simple things of each and every day.
